Welcome to Jackton & Thorntonhall Community Council. We represent the interests of our community and have a statutory right to be consulted on planning and licensing matters in the area.

The Community Council normally meets on the third Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at 7:30 pm. Because of COVID2 restrictions, it is not currently possible to meet physically. South Lanarkshire Council has now confirmed that online meetings are permitted. With effect from January 20th, 2021, meetings will be held online until further notice.
