Welcome to Jackton & Thorntonhall Community Council. We represent the interests of our community and have a statutory right to be consulted on planning and licensing matters in the area.

Due to the current Coronavirus measures, Community Council Meetings have been suspended until further notice. We have been advised by South Lanarkshire Council that online meetings are not valid under our constitution. Council members still meet informally online and urgent decisions can be made. If you have any matters that you wish to raise with us, please use the form on the “Contact” page.

The Community Council meets on the third Wednesday of each month (except July and August) at Thorntonhall Tennis Club at 7.30 pm. All are welcome to attend and speak at the meeting.
